APPAREL SPOTLIGHT
Why we made
Unapologetically
Divergent

Ever feel like you're constantly editing yourself?
Like there's this unspoken pressure to shrink the parts of you that are “too different”, just to make other people comfortable?
This tee is for that full, unfiltered version of yourself. The one who is learning to unmask, and to stop shrinking themselves.
It’s a symbol of Autism Acceptance and Awareness that is inspired by the Autism Wheel - every colour, every thread, embraces what it means to see the world through our lens, however different our autistic profiles may be.
Autism isn't a single story, it impacts how we move, feel, think, and connect with others in varied and complex ways. If you’ve met one autistic person, you’ve met one autistic person.
It’s a small way to say: this is who I am!!

I absolutely love this jumper, the quality of work is amazing, from everything to the Club Neuro zipped bag that it came in and the quality of material and production! The fit is incredible it has the ‘comfort baggy’ jumper feel while having a really nice fit in the sleeves and the collar, I can’t wait to find every way possible to style this with all of my other clothing.

Such a great hoodie. I'm really fussy about hoods and sleeves but the hood is a great shape and stays up perfectly and the cuff on the sleeves is so great for stopping your sleeves rolling up under a jacket.

I feel like Dartmoor is the perfect place for a mind that lives outside the lines. Away from the hustle and bustle of the man made cities, everything just feels so much calmer. I just need to wait for when the reptiles emerge again for the warmth of spring/summer.
And this t-shirt makes it even better, I don't know why every t-shirt doesn't use this material, no itching/scratching, no labels, just a nice cosy feel.
I'm very excited to get more from future drops 😊.

As someone who appreciates these things, this launch is just perfection. Like you guys have written the book.
The way you’ve built excitement. The community-led. It’s outstanding.
The engagement, the explosion on this forum a testament to your hard work. And yes of a whole bunch of people stuck in their heads; just muddling on through in a rather hard world.

Olivia thank you for welcoming me into this wonderful community Olivia, what you’re creating is truly wonderful. To think you had to shut the doors early - the people clearly need a platform just like this. Bravo!

FAQ
What makes your clothing sensory-friendly?
We know that for many neurodivergent people, clothing is about comfort and feel. That’s why we design our apparel with sensory-friendly features to make wearing them as enjoyable as possible.
Tag-free design with no itchy labels. We're completely tag-free to avoid irritation.
Soft, breathable fabrics where we use 100% cotton, which is gentle on the skin, lightweight, and breathable, making it ideal for those with sensory sensitivities.
Minimal seams and smooth finishes to avoid bulky stitching and rough seams that reduce discomfort.
Non-restrictive fit that creates a cosy feel and they're not constricting, so they’re comfortable for all-day wear.
Are the materials used suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes! We use a soft, high-quality 100% cotton, a natural, breathable, and hypoallergenic fabric that’s gentle on the skin.
Cotton is known for its softness and comfort, making it a great choice for those with sensitive skin or sensory sensitivities.
We avoid using harsh chemicals or synthetic blends that can cause irritation. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, we always recommend checking with a dermatologist for peace of mind.
How do I care for my sensory-friendly clothing? Are they machine washable?
Yes, our 100% cotton garments are machine washable, but to keep them feeling soft and comfortable for as long as possible, we recommend the following care instructions:
Washing instructions:
- Machine wash cold (30°) to prevent shrinking and maintain softness.
- Use a gentle detergent (fragrance-free if you have sensitivities).
- Wash inside out to protect the fabric.
- Avoid fabric softeners, as they can coat the cotton fibers and reduce breathability.
Drying and ironing:
- Air dry for best results - tumble drying can cause shrinkage.
- If using a dryer, select low heat.
- If needed, iron on a low setting and avoid direct heat on any printed designs.
